Robotics 2023-2024

 

For the 2023-2024 school year, Chatsworth Park UPM has two competitive robotics teams. The Palomino Bots, 31616Z and 31616Z, comprises of 18 students from 4th and 5th grades. Each team is working on two robots; one robot that is built following VexIQ build instructions and the other robot is from the students own ideas. The goal for both teams is to have working robots for the 4 upcoming competitions. We encourage all of our palomino families to come and cheer on the Palomino Bots on Thursday nights (October 26th, November 16th, December 14th, and February 1st) from 4:00pm-7:30pm at Chatsworth High School. 

 

This year, the Palomino Bots will be competing against other elementary school, who are being coached by Mr. Lansing (3rd grade) and Ms. Van der Heiden (4th grade). This is the second year our school has a competitive robotics team and are looking forward to improving on last year's great start!
